A little bit about the Safflower:

The Safflower is an herb that native to Iran and northwestern India, however is has been successfully cultivated in Northern America and the other parts of the world as well. 

The Safflower can grow to about three feet in height and once the flowers begin to wilt, the groups of yellow flower tubs are pit in a warm area which is shaded to dry. Apparently if you expose them to direct sunlight, it destroys the pigment. 

Here are some key characteristics of Safflower medicinal properties.

1. It acts as an antiseptic.

2. It is a great aid in order to induce sweating if the medical procedure requires the patient to swear it out. 

3. It helps to reduce the inflammation of  the lungs for a patient that has pneumonia.

4. And in cases where menstruation is not having proper movement, it helps to stimulate menstruation flow. 

Some of the ailments that Safflower has been used to treat all around the world:

- stomach tumors, 
- cleanse wounds
- treat measles
- stimulate menstruation 
- relieve abdominal pain 
- fever 
- scabies
- arthritis
- chest pains


It is a very all rounded herb and it's herbal properties are extracted from the seed and the flowers.
