Mermaid in a Cozy Shell

This is actually created from a very old sketch that I made during my art school days. I had wanted to create a really huge painting from it, however as my love for miniature acrylic artworks has grown, I have decided to finish any old sketches that I began years, ago, digitally!

I've always been very inspired by merfolk and the sea, and so this cosy painting is the idea of being the pearl of a large pink clam - a precious commodity, to both humans who seek it out, and the clam that is creating it.
